I saw this random quote on the web and loved it...
"You don't judge a book by it's cover. Don't judge change by the beginning. Wait until the end. You'll be surprised at the results."
September had so many nasty little surprises. I feel like a swimmer who keeps coming to the surface for one more gasping breath of air to sustain me. I find time for one more walk, one more healthy smoothie, one more hour to cook a decent meal. But I'm going to just keep at it!
Happy October, this is your month, PE, and I'm thinking it will be good, and all teeth will stay safe and secure.
ReplyDeleteWent to hear a Buddhist nun teach about relaxation yesterday. She said that it was all about relaxing the mind, not so much what we do or what is happening around us. Of course, easy to say, practicing this relaxation in everyday life is key, she also said this. And practice means to keep trying and be as mindful as possible, esp when it comes to food, and people, and ourselves. Rambles!
Thanks, Caro! I sure do appreciate the encouragement! I've been trying to cling to meditation and I think it does just what your Buddhist nun discussed. I feel like I know where the journey should go and I'm on my way. I just need to make sure I'm heading in that direction. :o)
